# Can I use my license on a test or development site?

**Yes, you can!** Your license key can be used on an unlimited number of local, test, or development WordPress installations in addition to the live websites included in your license.

### Hosting Service Staging Environments

Many hosting providers offer **staging environments**, allowing site owners to test updates and new plugins before applying them to their live websites. Our License SDK will automatically recognize and support several of the most popular WordPress hosting services with custom staging environments.

Here are the supported hosting providers:

- WP Engine
- InstaWP
- Cloudways
- Kinsta
- GoDaddy
- FlyWheel
- BlueHost
- HostGator
- SiteGround

### Standard Staging Environments

If a hosting provider does not offer a built-in tool for creating staging environments or uses standard URL structures for staging sites,Our License SDK supports the following subdomain patterns as recognized **WordPress staging site URLs**:

- `*.staging.example.org`
- `*.test.example.org`
- `staging-*.example.org`
- `dev.example.org`

     If your subdomain pattern does not match the list above, you can contact our support team with your staging domain, and we will manually approve it as a staging site.
