The Deposit Plugin now supports a powerful Dynamic Rules Addon, designed specifically to extend deposit functionality using flexible, condition-based rules.
Originally, this feature was planned to be part of the core plugin. However, separating it into a standalone addon allows the Dynamic Rules system to work not only with the Deposit Plugin,but also across other WooCommerce features based on custom conditions.
Downloading the Dynamic Rules Addon #
If you have access to your Codeixer account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Codeixer account
- Navigate to the Downloads section
- Download the file:
dynamic-rules-beta.zip
Installation & Activation
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the
dynamic-rules-beta.zipfile - Install and activate the plugin
After activation, the addon will automatically integrate with WooCommerce and Deposit Plugin Pro.
Enable Checkout Mode in Deposit Plugin #
To use Dynamic Rules with the Deposit Plugin, you must enable Checkout Mode.
- Go to Codeixer → Deposit Settings
- Open the Checkout Mode tab
- Enable the Checkout Mode option
Creating Dynamic Rules #
Once the addon is activated, a new menu item will appear in WooCommerce.
- Go to WooCommerce → Dynamic Rules
- Click Add New Rule
- Configure rule conditions and deposit settings
How It Works #
Dynamic Rules allow you to:
- Apply multiple deposit amounts on the checkout page
- Create condition-based deposit rules
- Control deposit behavior dynamically without custom code
Currently, only checkout-based deposit rules are supported.
More rule types and advanced features will be introduced in upcoming updates.
